Southampton had a busy summer as Russell Martin welcomed 14 first-team signings in preparation for the Premier League.
The likes of Aaron Ramsdale, Yukinari Sugawara and Cameron Archer all joined to bolster the Southampton ranks.
There were departures too, with Romain Perraud, Carlos Alcaraz and Lyanco just three of the players to leave the club.
One of the sagas of the summer revolved around the future of Kyle Walker-Peters with the full-back linked with a move to West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur.
Walker-Peters ultimately stayed put but has entered the final year of his contract so Russell Martin knows he could lose the twice-capped England International for free next summer unless he signs new terms.
