Southampton are expected to be ‘busy and creative’ for the rest of the transfer window as they look to bring in more players.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Southampton will be a lot more active in the market using the money they have generated from player sales.
Speaking to Givemesport, he said: “Yeah, busy and creative. Now they are making money, through selling Livramento, Lavia, Ward-Prowse, and all the other players. Then, it;s going to be time to bring in new talents.
“We know the vision of the director, Jason Wilcox, is about young talent and is about the future. So I’m sure they will go in that direction. They will spend part of that money on young talent, For sure, Southampton will be busy, and it’s going to be very creative.”
How many players do Southampton need?

Southampton have lost a lot of players this summer, with ten first team players from last season leaving the club, with only three players coming in the form of Shea Charles, Ryan Manning and Joe Lumley.
With Lumley coming in as what looks to be third choice keeper, the goalkeeping department is looking heatlthy. However, Alex McCarthy is rummoured to be leaving, so they may need to bring in another should he do so.
In defence thay have brought in Manning at left-back, and looked well-stocked in that area, with at least two left and right backs and four centre-backs. In midfield they are lacking, as they are yet to replecae Ward-Prowse – but Flynn Downes is rumoured to be joining on loan fro West Ham United.
Southampton are healthy on the wings and upfrontoo but the likes of Che Adams and Nathan Tella have all been heavily linked with moves awya, so will more than likely need replacing also.
