Southampton trio Samuel Amo-Ameyaw, Jayden Meghoma and Tyler Dibling will all be returning to St Mary’s after England were knocked out of the U17 World Cup.
The Three Lions were knocked out in the Round of 16 by Uzbekistan on Wednesday morning.
They had topped their group, losing to Brazil but beating Iran and New Caledonia, with the latter being a 10-0 win, with Dibling and Amo-Ameyaw both getting on the scoresheet.
England manager gives verdict on tournament

Speaking after their final game, relayed by the Daily Echo, manager Ryan Garry gave his overview of their performance in the tournament.
“I think we were below our level, to be honest. We had a lot of the ball and a lot of half chances.
“Ultimately, we weren’t clinical enough in both boxes. I was very disappointed with the first goal – we have to learn from that.
“We have had four really good games. The finer details count at this level and I think we have learned that.
“I’m bitterly disappointed for the group, but the long-term objective is to make sure these boys are ready for the senior team and the older age groups.
“I’m sure there will be a lot of lessons learned, not just from this game, but the group stage as well.”
Saints trio will be disappointed
Whilst it was a disappointing end for England, it will have been a great experience for the trio.
All three of them playing in their first international tournament will, for all three of them, hopefully be the first of many.
All three will now return to St Mary’s in a bid to help Southampton gain promotion to the Premier League, with all three already gaining competitive minutes in the first team this season. Meghoma started in the defeat to Gillingham in the EFL cup earlier in the season.
