After a summer-long chase, it seems a deal for Romeo Lavia has now been wrapped up at long last but Liverpool have missed out.
Southampton are set to receive their third huge transfer fee of the summer in what has been a rebuilding heavy window.
Tino Livramento was the first big money sale as he joined Newcastle United for £32m.
Meanwhile club captain James Ward-Prowse has also been sold to West Ham for a fee of £30m.
Now though, the third departure is the most valuable of all, with talented and sought after youngster Romeo Lavia now about be sold.
This after a fee worth up to £58m was agreed with Chelsea for the signing of the talented Belgian.

Lavia to join Chelsea
Lavia was linked all summer with joining Liverpool, however a last minute swoop from Chelsea has left the Reds without a midfielder.
Chelsea initially beat their rivals to the signature of Moises Caicedo for £115million following the Ecuadorian rejecting Liverpool.
Following this, the Blues then went and took Liverpool’s other target in Lavia for a fee beyond the £50m that Southampton had been asking for all summer.
The Athletic confirmed that Chelsea will pay an initial £53m with an additional £5m in add-ons.
Lavia will now complete a medical before finalising his move to Stamford Bridge which should be no issue.
We hope that this latest huge cash influx results in the Southampton board spending some on replacing the players lost.
This should be of upmost importance since the Championship is proving a lot harder than many would have thought.
Therefore bringing in a few players and guarantee promotion, should happen sooner than later.
