Kyle Walker-Peters has said that there was lots of interest in his signature this summer but he never wanted to move away from Southampton.
Plenty of Premier League sides were looking at the Englishman this summer wish Arsenal and Fulham in particular.
In spite of this interest, Walker-Peters has played every available minute under new manager, Russell Martin.
The season started well for the Saints but with 5-0 and 4-1 defeats back to back, the pressure has already started to build.

What has Kyle Walker-Peters said?
Despite heavy transfer rumours, the right back was respectful and never demanded a move.
On that point, he said: “I’m not someone who was going to try and force my way out or have things put in the media. That’s not my style.”
The new manager has clearly had an effect on him staying at St Mary’s.
Discussing the chance to work under Martin: “I’m really enjoying working with him.
“My main focus is on Southampton and getting the club back into the Premier League. Hopefully we can do that.”
On the Saints boss’ tactical approach he said: “He has implemented his style really well. I’m enjoying it.
“The focus for myself and everyone in the dressing room is to try and get back into the Premier League.”
With two heavy defeats coming so quickly one after an other, bouncing back is of high priority.
Returning to positive results is imperative: “If we do that we will get back to the form we showed at the start of the season.
“Luckily we have got another game on Tuesday where we can start to put it right.”
With a game coming midweek, it gives a quick chance to bounce back.
Discussing the next match, Walker-Peters said: “We have got to win (against Ipswich Town). There isn’t much else to it. Two defeats in a row is not great.”
The Saints need to get back on the winning track, Walker-Peter’s and the other senior players need to drag this team through.
