Southampton manager, Russell Martin believes that Charly Alcaraz will come good despite some early season struggles.
The Saints have hit some rough form as of late and fans are calling for Alcaraz to get his chance in the first team.
Last season, in the Premier League, he scored four and assisted two across just 18 games.
This campaign he has featured six times but there are calls for him to play on a more regular basis.

What has Russell Martin said about Charly Alcaraz?
In spite of fans calling out for the Argentine, Martin isn’t rushing into a decision.
On his squad, he said: “I see the players every day. When you are asking people to play a certain way.”
His reasons for Alcaraz missing out were profound: “Charly is a young man and doesn’t speak the language well, if at all.
“We are asking him to play in a team with a lot of structure and there are things he knows he needs to do better.”
The midfielder has had some personal problems with the club in the past months.
On that, Martin said: It’s been a difficult time for him. He’s lost Willy Caballero and he’s lost Lyanco, his two best mates in the group.
“He’s a young man who is miles away from his home and he’s had some difficult news about his dad.
“He’s got all of that going on which people don’t see and don’t understand.”
With all that being said, his manager isn’t chancing him right now.
Discussing his team, he said: “You’re either all in with the team or you’re not. At the minute, Charly needs to come over to that side really.
“We will help him through it and at some point he will be on the pitch for us and he will be fantastic, but now is not the right time while the team is struggling.”
On his day, Alcaraz is one of the best players at St Mary’s and if he is fit and firing so are Southampton.
