Kamaldeen Sulemana signed for Southampton in January and following relegation has been linked with moves away. Everton and Monaco are showing interest.

The Ghanaian winger has been at the club for less than a year after joining from Rennes in the winter window.

He managed two goals and an assist across 18 games in the Premier League, with both goals coming in the final game of the season.

The Toffees were linked to him in January and might be able to get him a few months later.

Rumours are also swirling suggesting that the attacker is of interest of Monaco who are ready to table a £20 million bid.

Should Southampton let Kamaldeen Sulemana leave?

If the final game of last season is anything to go by, no.

If the other 17 games of last season are, then a recoup of the money might be worth while.

Against Liverpool he was unplayable at times, getting past players with ease and scoring two great goals.

He is good on the ball, loves to get forward and get shots away from distance.

In the Championship he could be unbelievable taking players on and driving the Saints forward.

With Nathan Tella linked to moves away as well, Russell Martin won’t want to lose them both.

Despite not featuring yet this season the Ghanaian flying in tandem with Tella could be superb. The thought of them on opposite flanks would be frightening for any Championship defence.

With that firepower Southampton have much better chances to be promoted.

If Monaco’s £20 million bid is on the table, the money to invest back into the squad alongside the £35 million from selling James Ward-Prowse it could be a positive sale.

One or the other could be sold, between himself and Tella.

Selling both could cause issues in their squad. Multiple new signings would be needed in a small period of time left in the window.
