Paul Onuachu looks set to be leaving Southampton with the club agreeing a permanent deal with Trabzonspor for the striker.
It appears that an agreement has been reached between the Turkish outfit and the Saints which will see him leave after eight months.
The Super Lig side have already purchased from England this week, signing Nicolas Pepe from Arsenal on a cut price deal.
The Saints signed Onuachu from Genk in January 2023 and months later he is set to go.
11 appearances across the second half of the season didn’t see any goal return as his new club was relegated.
He hasn’t been involved in any league games this season and is clearly out of Russell Martin’s plans moving forward.
Should Southampton sell Paul Onuachu?
Simply put, if there is a chance to sell him, get him gone.
£15 million signing and it just hasn’t worked.
Standing as a 6″6 striker, he was always going to be a risk in the Premier League and it didn’t work.

The interesting part of this move that could have an effect on the likelihood of it happening is another Turkish side.
The Saints owners, also are part of the Goztepe ownership group.
There appears to be a deal which could see a Trabzon player move to the other Turkish side.
Then Onuachu would then move from Southampton.
A very complicated deal for all parties but there is hope a deal can be completed.
Southampton will be hopeful to recoup as much of the fee they paid from the deal.
With Ross Stewart, a replacement is already here.
