Luis Lopes also known as Duk has admirers from the Championship with Southampton one of the interested parties.
The Cape Verde international has been looked at by a whole host of clubs. Saints had scouts at his most recent game against Celtic.
This has been reported by Sunday Mirror editor Darren Witcoop.
Who is Duk?
A product of the prestigious Benfica academy, he scored 29 goals in 81 games across different youth team levels for the Portuguese outfit.
Duk joined Aberdeen for a fee in the region of £400,000 last summer.
He has a superb first season for The Dons, scoring 16 and assisting six in 33 Scottish Premiership appearances.
His goals fired his side to a place in the Europa League next season.

The 23-year-old has an assist to his name in two games so far this season but is yet to score.
Should Southampton sign Duk?
A tall and pacey striker who loves to dribble with the ball, Duk is a unique player with a different style of play to most.
He is comfortable in the air, winning arial duels, making him very useful in both boxes.
His finishing is one of his biggest strengths being fourth top scorer in the league last season.
His partnership with Bojan Miovski also catches the eye.
With Russell Martin opting for a 4-3-3 this season, playing off the left and potentially combining with Che Adams or Adam Armstrong could cause damage.
This being said, attacking options are a plenty at St Mary’s this season, so signing a striker may not be the most important position to fill.
With Kamaldeen Sulemana and Nathan Tella still at the club, at the time of writing, Southampton are stacked out wide also.
He is playing at a high standard in Scotland and could provide a threat in the Championship, but may not be necessary right now for the Saints.
